1. Use of the website
1.1. Terms of use
Donetronics give access to use the website on the terms and conditions explained below.
The terms should be checked regularly as they are subject to change from time to time. The use of the website is the acceptance of the update done in the terms.
1.2. Copyright
All intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademarks, design rights, patents, and others, in and on this website are owned by Donetronics Ltd.
No part of the content of this website may be reproduced in any form except for personal use or internal business purposes. Reproduction and sharing with third parties are not permitted. All copyright notices in the original material must remain intact. This website may not be modified, disassembled, decompiled, or reverse-engineered for commercial purposes.

Donetronics gives no warranties, representations or assurances in respect of;
- Any content of this website (including, but not limited to, any regarding the quality, accuracy, completeness, or suitability of such content). The information provided on this website is not to be regarded as advice or a recommendation.
- Any content of other website accessed through this website or by hypertext links.
Donetronics is not going to be liable for any damages, losses, expenses, liabilities, loss of profits or costs resulting from the information given by the employees.
2. Basic Information
- All payments are paid by Bank Transfer or online Card payment and they are emailed to the email you provide during the order process. It takes up to three working days from the date on which the device is received and is inspected.
- The device will need to be sent within seven days of the prepaid post label is received. Delay in the shipping process may affect negatively the determination of the device value.
- Agreeing to the terms and conditions and by sending the device to us, you acknowledge that you are the owner of the device sent.
- We are aiming to make every transaction fast and easy. If there would be any questions regarding the terms and conditions, please contact us. All the details can be found in our Contact Us page.
- Keep your information and email communication preferences up to date, as we would like to communicate with you only if you would like to hear from us. Please contact us if you do not which to receive any information from us.
2.1. General terms and conditions
- This constitutes the agreement between parties. No waiver by us regarding the breach or default will be deemed by a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default. Our publications or website could have errors and we have the right to correct the errors in writing.
The agreement can be modified any time without giving any notice. The usage of our website, tools and services following any modification constitutes to follow and be bound by the agreement. If the terms and conditions are modified are immediately effective after the publication.
3. Repair and Service
3.1. Estimate/ Quote
We giving a free estimate online, based on the information what is been provided. The repair cost may be higher than the estimate price given, due to changes in parts, labour or simply additional faults found during the check of the device. If the estimate price change, we will contact you via email with the exact price. In this case you will need to authorize the repair again and then your device will be repaired.
In some cases, we cannot provide an estimate, the item will be requested to be sent to us for a full diagnosis. After the diagnoses we will be able to provide a quote once diagnosed.
3.2. Service Charge
Items received for diagnosis or repair will have a service charge to cover the engineer’s time or parts used at the attempt of diagnosis or the repair of the items. The service charge will only need to be paid when:
- The device is not economical to repair (i.e is not worth fixing it as is cheaper if it’s replaced)
- The device is not genuine and the parts are not available.
- The device diagnosis has been done but the repair request is cancelled before the process started.
- If is been provided a quotation but it has been rejected.
The service charge that applies for each type of device is as follows:
- £10 – Headphones
- £25 – Smart Phone, Smart Watch, Tablet
- £25 – Gaming console
- £25 – Laptop/ Computer
- £25 – Drone
If the fault in the device is not found the equipment will be returned to the customer but the service charge and shipping will be applied.
3.3. Diagnostics
Diagnosis is quoted and charged separately if the fault is unclear and the cost could not be covered by the service charge due to the time required to diagnose the fault on a specific item. Non-refundable and billed separately.
3.4. Turnaround Time
Diagnosis
We aim to start the diagnosis process within 3 to 5 working days after the device is been received.
Parts Availability
Timely completion of the repairs is dependent on the availability of the parts required. If the parts required need to be ordered, the arrival of the parts generally is 5 to 10 working days but in some cases can take up to four weeks.
Busy periods
During peak periods the repair of the devices could experience some delays.
No Guaranteed Turnaround
The diagnosis start is expected to be within the timeframes specified, but we cannot guarantee the completion times for the repairs due to variable factors as nature of faults, parts availability and workload.
3.5. Return Postage
Free return shipping will be provided if the quotation is accepted and the device is repaired. However, if the quotation is declined and the device need to be returned, a return postage fee of £9.90 will apply.
The orders will be shipped back to the customer from 1 to 3 working days after the payment has been received. We are not responsible for the courier delays.
In the unlikely event that a parcel is lost during shipment we will apply royal mail policy giving a refund of the missing item up to a maximum value of £100; proof of purchase is required to process any claim. Claims must be made within 80 days from the date of posting.
To verify that an item shipped via post has been lost, we must wait 28 days, as most missing items are located in the postal system within this period. Is recommended to contact your local sorting office to see if they are holding the parcel, in case they were unsuccessful to deliver the parcel to you.

We are only shipping in United Kingdom.
3.6. Parts used
The parts provided are original by the manufacturer if possible. If by any chance the original parts are not available the parts used are high quality OEM parts. After the repair of the device has been done, we cannot guarantee that the item is going to be waterproof.
3.7. Installation of customer supplied parts
If the customer supplies the parts, we will do the installation of the part provided. We will not be giving any warranty for these repairs as we cannot guarantee or take liability for the functionality and fit of the part that was provided.
3.8. Unpaid Receipts/Invoices
The equipment will remain on hold until the charges of the repair has been paid.
This equipment will be held for a maximum of 30 days after the invoice has been issued. We will attempt to contact you by email at least 3 times. If no payment is received within the 30 days, the item will be recycled.
3.9. Liquid damage repairs
Liquid damage repairs are very temperamental and are carried out on a best way possible. Sometimes, the original fault of the item is repaired but can reappear, and in some occasions the defects can get worse after a period of time.
3.10. Accessories, Games, Power Supplies
Ensure to not send any accessories with the item that requires the repair unless there are requested by us. We will not hold responsible for any loss or damaged accessories while they are in our possession. Sometimes we may request for some accessories to be sent after our initial diagnostic for further testing that may be related to the fault of the item.
3.11. User data and Information
We will try to retain the data from the item but we cannot be hold responsible for any loss data, including music, photos, videos, contacts saved etc. Ensure to back up any relevant data that you want to keep before sending the device for repair.
3.12. Payments
The payments will be requested by email when the repair has been completed or the device is beyond economical repair or the quote has been refused. The payments will need to be paid either by Bank Transfer or online card payments, but all subject to the clearance of the money and we accept card payments.
3.13. Cancellation
As the guidelines of Distance Selling Regulations, you are having the right to cancel the contract at any stage, unless the repair has already started. If you would like to cancel, send an email to support@donetronics.co.uk providing the relevant details. If we receive a request to cancel the repair the postage will need to be paid, as we will not take responsibility of paying the postage if the device repair is cancelled.
- If the diagnostic has been done but the device repair has not started, you will be responsible of paying the diagnosis fee and you will be responsible of paying the postage fee as is detailed in clause 3.5.
- If the repair is completed before the cancellation, the full cost of the repair will need to be paid. In the case where the device has been partially repaired at the time of the cancellation, charges will apply for the part of the work completed.
- If you request to cancel the repair prior the commencement of any work, you only will be responsible for the return postage as detailed in clause 3.5.
3.14. Repair Warranty
Repairs have a 3-month warranty for replaced parts and labour except for the below reasons:
- Liquid damage repair
- Mainboard and PCB board repairs
- Repairs where the parts have been supplied by the customer
- Non-genuine products
In the unlikely event, your item becomes faulty within the warranty period, please ensure you request a Warranty Repair and you will receive a return label.
The device will be checked and we will aim to respond within 3 to 5 working days. If the issue is related to the initial repair, then the repair will be carried out free of charge and return at no extra cost. In the case of the issue is not related to the original repair, we will contact you with a new quote.
We will attempt to repair the item a maximum of two times after the original repair. In the case of the item be faulty after, a refund will be issued (except for the service charge). Note that we will need to see the device before to ensure is faulty for the same issue before any refund is issued.
3.15. Warranty Limitations
Warranty service or returned item under the limited warranty will only be honoured if the claims are made and faulty device has been returned within the warranty period.
Donetronics do not offers warranty for the loss of any pre-installed software or applications. We do not give any warranty for any malfunction for the applications that the software contains or error-free. The software restored or installed as original state unless is stated in writing.
Donetronics can refuse a warranty repair of devices under disputable conditions. Also, we hold the right to declare a final decision whether the item is within warranty conditions.
The following damages or actions will void the warranty:
- Damage caused by the act of nature (fire, flood, lightning, etc.)
- Damage caused by failure to perform a proper installation or to provide an appropriate operational environment for the product.
- Damage caused by impact with other objects, falls, liquids.
- Damage caused by disassembling of the product or unauthorised repair
- Damage caused by misuse, misapplication or mishandling.
- Damage caused by a third-party.
- Errors caused by software incompatibilities and virus, as unauthorised built-in software modification.
- Deterioration of normal circumstances for example batteries.
- Cracks/physical damage and scratches on LCD or materials.
3.16. Limitation of Liability
The customer agrees that Donetronics will not be liable for damaged done during out of warranty repair services. This includes damages arising from repair, upgrade, transport or other related services. It is strongly advised that all the customers backup all data before submitting the device for repair, as we will not take responsibility for any data loss. It is also important to note that submitting a device for out-of-warranty repair and subsequently submitting a warranty claim does not guarantee that the warranty terms will apply if the damage is found to be related to the out-of-warranty service provided.
3.17. Complaints
Our customers are satisfied and the complaint system helps that the customers are satisfied when there are issues and things go wrong. If you have a complaint, please send an email to support@donetronics.co.uk. Once the email has been received, we will acknowledge the complaint within 3 to 5 working days and we will give you an estimate on how long will take the investigation and resolution of the issue. Once the issue has been investigated and resolved we will get back to you with a response to prevent reoccurrence.
5. Shipping
Donetronics will not be responsible for lost or damaged goods. All items sent to or from Donetronics are made according to the shipment contract.
Before the items are received by Donetronics, the risk of loss and tittle for the items remains with the customer. The risk of loss and the tittle for the items are passed to us upon delivery from the courier. Donetronics recommends that when sending items to us you used insured and traceable methods of transit.
Claims on returned items for damage and part loss must be made within 7 days of the date that the item was received, or the claim will be dismissed. Royal Mail has no legal liability for any loss if at the time of the claim 80 days has expired from the date of posting. Is advised by Royal Mail that the customers need to claim as soon as possible after an event has occurred to enable the enquires promptly.
4. Agreement for repair
- The conditions set out for the agreement will apply to the service we provide to repair your device on the service questionnaire form.
- The different references will be defined if we talk about Donetronics or about the customer, see below the references;

4.1. All Repairs
- The agreement starts from the date that the service questionnaire is signed, and will continue until the device is been repaired, received the payment and returned to you.
- We will make an effort to repair your item all subject of parts availability of any parts required and terms of any relevant warranty.
- We will give you an estimate of completion but that is not an obligation under the terms and conditions.
- We will hold the devices for a maximum of 30 days after the item has been repaired, deemed beyond economical repair or requiring a requote. We will attempt to contact you 3 times. If the payment has not been received within 30 days, then the device will be kept to recover our costs.
- In the event, that we are unable to complete the repair for any reason or will incur further costs payable by you, we will contact you with the information immediately.
- All charges might be subject to VAT and any other government taxes as applicable.
- The device collection and return are free; but this is just for UK Mainland.
4.2. Additional terms and conditions of warranty repairs
- If the repair needs to be carried out under warranty, we will ask you to provide sufficient proof of any warranty.
- If the device is beyond economical repair, at our discretion we may replace your item with a suitable equivalent instead of carry out the repair work.
- If the repair falls outside of the terms of the warranty, then you may be charged for the repair under the terms set for the service charge set in clause 3.2.
- If misinformation is provided to Donetronics regarding your device, resulting in an expired warranty, you will be charged £9.90 for diagnosis fee plus shipping as in clause 3.2.
4.3. Additional terms and conditions for chargeable repairs
- If the repair is not covered by a warranty or the nature of the repair is beyond any terms of the warranty, will be offered an out-of warranty repair, then the terms and conditions of Repair and servicing will apply.
- We will keep the device until the payable charges are paid and after will be returned.
4.4. Liability
- The liability in respect of a cause of action arising out of or in connection to the agreement or its subject matter (breach of contract, negligence, etc.) will be limited to an extent that the cause of action related to the supply of our services to:
- Supplying the service again
- Payment of the cost of having the services supplied again
- Repay the amount that was paid for the services
- If our negligence or misconduct, the device is damaged beyond economical repair, our liability will be limited to the cost of providing with a product that is the same or similar to the device.
- Data or information stored in the device is your responsibility, we will not accept any liability for loss or corruption of the data caused. You are responsible to keep a record of any data.
- Nothing in this clause will apply to limit or exclude the liability for:
- Death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
- Breach of the terms stated.
- Claims arising under the Consumer Protection Act 2007.
- Fraudulent misrepresentation.
- We will not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of or in connection to this agreement, including loss of business, revenue, profits, savings or any other damage or loss arising.
- We will not be liable for any claim arising under this agreement unless the claim is written and given to us within three months from the time you become aware of the circumstances.
4.5. Data Protection
We ask personal information from you so we have the ability to notify you when the device has been repaired so we can give an efficient service. Time to time we may send you some text messages to alert from new services. By signing the questionnaire and using our services, you consent to our use of Personal Information. If you do not want to receive text messages at any point, you should contact us.
6. Limitation of Liability
Whilst we shall use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we publish on the website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied, as to its accuracy. The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any representation or endorsement made. We make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the website or any transaction that may be conducted on or through the website, including but not limited to implied warranties of non-infringement, compatibility, security, accuracy, completeness, or any implied warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the website will meet your requirements or that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; or that the website or the server that makes it available are free from viruses or bugs or represent the full functionality, accuracy, or reliability of the website. We shall not be responsible for any loss of content or material uploaded to or transmitted through the website.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the products. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your right to cancel a contract.
We shall not be liable in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations), or otherwise arising out of or in connection with these conditions for:
- any economic losses (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business, or anticipated savings);
- any loss of goodwill or reputation; or
- any special or indirect losses suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under these conditions.
Nothing in these conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our servants, agents, or employees.
